our mission:
Our mission is to serve as an open forum for the free expression of student thought and to work to fairly represent the voice of our readers. The Gallery should inform the student body through unbiased reporting and help connect the DSA community through our stories.
OUR practices:
The Gallery is a student edited and managed publication. We have the right to determine the stories and material covered in each issue and to decline material if it does not meet our professional journalistic standards of honesty and integrity, as guided by the Student Press Law Center. It is not the policy of this news magazine to downgrade or tarnish the reputation of any individual or group. As a forum of free expression, The Gallery does not accept anonymous letters, but will instead print letters using “name withheld,” provided the editor knows the author’s identity.
